And There She Flies...

It all started when that little metal bird flew over me.
What is that bird? Her voice is sweeter than Cuckoo !
Ever since I watched her fly, she filled my mind with scintillating thoughts.
To be among the league of men who fly them or make them.

Evolution taught us to crawl, walk and run.
But I always wanted to fly.
They said 'its impossible', but I am an Engineer,
And there is nothing wrong, so try !!

Her wings wide open to embrace the sky,
And glide through the clouds like a opulent child,
Free and enchanted.
She evolved to become an engineering marvel,
That could travel faster than her voice.
She guided man and his best friend to space,
And became the symbol of hope and liberation.

But, the war took a toll on her body.
Her free wings now carry gunpowder and nukes,
Hunting the men she was born to excite.
She wept as melancholy lingered over the cemetery.

Nonetheless, like a proud mother,
She carried her children through time zones and back.
Sophisticatedly dressed from the outside,
With a beautiful face and a pointy nose.

Look, over there... !!!
And there she flies, liberated from her earthly strings,
Perhaps!, into a new dimension?
And there she flies...
